Inter wing-back Dalbert is on the verge of leaving the club according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

The Brazilian, who has only just returned to Inter following a loan spell at fellow Serie A club Fiorentina, is set to leave the club in another loan deal albeit this time he will be moving to Ligue 1 side Rennes.

As part of the deal, Rennes will have an option to turn Dalbert’s stay with them into a permanent one at the end of the 2020/21 season although the report does not specify how much it will cost Rennes to sign Dalbert on a permanent basis.

Dalbert joined Inter back in the Summer of 2017 from OGC Nice in a circa €20 million deal but has never truly settled in at Inter and has been limited to just 26 appearances across all competitions for the club, in which he has scored one goal and tallied a single assist.
