Milan Skriniar is now set to stay at Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Slovakian national team central defender has been strongly linked with a potential switch to Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur but as per this report the player has now kissed goodbye to a potential switch to the north London club.

Inter and Spurs had held talks over Skriniar and Spurs reportedly made an offer of €30 million but the offer fell some way short of Inter’s evaluation of the player, who they value at €60 million.

Skriniar joined Inter from fellow Serie A side Sampdoria back in the Summer of 2017 in a player plus cash deal and has since went on to make 129 appearances across all competitions for the club.

During his time on the park, the 25-year-old, who is contracted to Inter until the end of the 2022/23 season, has scored four goals and tallied as many assists.
