Tottenham Hotspur are yet to submit an improved offer to Inter for central defender Milan Skriniar according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia journalist and transfer market Gianluca Di Marzio, which was broadcast a short time ago.

As per the report, if Spurs were going to make an improved offer, one closer to Inter’s demands for the Slovakian player, they would have already done so.

Furthermore, the report continues, there are currently no signs that they will make a new bid for the former Sampdoria player, who they have been strongly linked to for a few weeks now.

Despite this, the report goes on to state that Skriniar remains Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho’s number one option to reinforce the defence following the recent departure of the vastly experience Jan Vertonghen.

Skriniar joined Inter back in the Summer of 2017 in a player plus cash deal from Sampdoria. The 25-year-old has since went on to make 129 appearances, in which he has scored four goals and tallied four assists.
