Radja Nainggolan is one step away from completing a return to Cagliari from Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The deal between the clubs is practically done and today could well be the day that the transfer is finalised and he is announced as a Cagliari player for the third time in his career.

Inter granted Cagliari a further discount on Nainggolan with Inter now wanting just €10 million. Cagliari want to include two youngsters in the deal in Roberto Biancu and Riccardo Ladinetti but Inter only want one of these players, Ladinetti.

The reason for this is because Inter have in fact set their sights on Cagliari’s young Polish defender Sebastian Walukiewicz.

The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to explain that with the new formula Cagliari will take Nainggolan on a paid loan with obligation to buy, which is equivalent to a signing and will therefore have to put down some level of cash to sign him.
