Cagliari president Tommaso Giulini met with Radja Nainggolan’s agent today for lunch to hold talks over the player according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia journalist and transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio.

As per Di Marzio’s report, which he published on his self-named website, Giulini met with Alessandro Beltrami to talk contract terms for Nainggolan, who Cagliari are looking to bring back to the club from Inter.

Cagliari are looking to agree a three year contract before then turning their attention to getting a deal done with Inter, which will reportedly be done on a loan with obligation to buy basis.

Multiple reports have also stated that Inter could acquire a young player or players from Cagliari as part of any deal.

Nainggolan joined Inter back in the Summer of 2018 from fellow Serie A side Roma and he has since went on to make 37 appearances for the club, in which he has scored seven goals and provided three assists
