Cagliari preisdent Tommaso Giulini has confirmed that an agreement over personal terms has been reached with Inter central midfielder Radja Nainggolan.

Giulini met with Nainggolan’s agent Alessandro Beltrami earlier on today for talks as Giulini continues in his bid to bring Nainggolan back to the club after his successful loan spell last season.

“There is an agreement with the player but the one with Inter is still missing. Is there optimism? I don’t know how to tell you,” he told Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com upon leaving the meeting with Beltrami.

CalcioMercato.com go on to report that Cagliari are continuing to work on getting a deal agreed with Inter for the Belgian national team player.

Inter value Nainggolan at €12 million and this report claims that Cagliari could include youngsters Roberto Biancu and Riccardo Ladinetti in their bid to sign Nainggolan.

Nainggolan joined Inter back in the Summer of 2018 in a players plus cash deal from Roma and still has just under two years left on his Inter contract. He has made one appearance across all competitions to date this term and has not made any goal contributions.
