Chelsea are not open to letting Marcos Alonso leaving the club on a loan basis according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was aired a short time ago.

Inter are widely reported to have an interest in signing the Spaniard and will reportedly not think twice about moving for Alonso if he is available for loan but for the time being Chelsea have not opened up to the possibility of letting him leave on loan.

In the past week Alonso’s relations with Chelsea manager Frank Lampard have soured after his conduct after being substituted against West Bromwich Albion and it remains to be seen whether the former Fiorentina player will still be at the Premier League club come the transfer deadline.

Alonso joined Chelsea in the Summer of 2016 and has a contract with the London based club until the end of the 2022/23 season. This season he has made three appearances but has made zero goal contributions.
