If Radja Nainggolan and Matias Vecino both leave Inter, a new midfielder may be signed by Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
Nainggolan appears set to finalise a return to Cagliari, where he spent last season out on loan, whilst Vecino has been linked with a potential move to Napoli but things appears to be at a standstill as far as that move is concerned.
With the sales of Nainggolan and Vecino alone, it would not be possible to bring in Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante, a player Inter manager Antonio Conte is understood to really want due to his belief that Kante’s arrival would help the team make a leap in quality.
To sign him, it would be necessary for either Marcelo Brozovic or Christian Eriksen to be sold.
Brozovic and Eriksen have been linked with some clubs as of late. Brozovic has been linked with Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco whilst Eriksen has recently been linked to Borussia Dortmund.
