Inter have two very much beatable teams in their Champions League group this year according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera.

In yesterday evening’s Champions League group stage draw, Inter drew 13 time winners Real Madrid alongside Ukrainaian powerhouses Shakhtar Donetsk and Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach.

The report from the Milan based news outlet insists that Shakhtar Donetsk and Borussia Monchengladbach are beatable and thanks to Inter’s new look squad, which has far better depth than before, they have everything required to make it through the group stage and into the knockout stage after two consecutive group stage exits.

The Champions League group stage is to commence on October 20 with the full fixture calendar set to be announced just shortly. The final of the tournament is scheduled for the end of May 2021 and will be held at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey.
