Inter president Steven Zhang has revealed what he could use his newly created profile on Chinese social media platform Weibo for.
“I could show you something about my life, something interesting about my work. I could even make some announcements on Weibo,” he explained in an interview with Inter Media House production ‘Inter Life’, which was broadcast a short time ago.
The Chinese businessman was then asked what it is like to live in Milan, whether he likes the lifestyle he has in the city and what he makes of the food on offer in Milan.
“I like to travel and see different countries and cities. I grew up in different countries and cities, practically since the second grade.
“One of the things I like about Europe and Italy is that there is a lot of art and culture. When I’m in Milan , there are activities and initiatives such as exhibitions, Fashion Week, etc.
“It is always good to broaden your knowledge and deepen your understanding for things you have learned by studying.
“The food here is suited to the Chinese taste, it is also interesting to try the delicious foods of the various Italian regions.”
Zhang was then asked who is best friends at Inter are and pointed out that all of the players, many of whom he is around the same age as, are interesting people.
“To be honest, I am the same age as many players. When I started taking care of the team two or three years ago, I was even younger than many of them.
“We have a good relationship and are like friends, but as president, all the players are the same to me. Some know me better, others less so.
“They are interesting people, they all have different characters, especially because they come from different countries, so they are all special in their own way.”
In conclusion he was asked if he could tell Inter fans anything about the Nerazzurri club’s transfer business via Weibo: “Please, no.”
28-year-old Zhang became Inter’s youngest president in club history when appointed back in October 2018. He has been involved at Inter since the Summer of 2016 since Suning, the Chinese e-commerce company owned by his father, bought a controlling stake in Inter.
