Inter defender Kwadwo Asamoah is closing in on a transfer to English championship side Reading according to a report from Ghanaian news outlet Kickgh.com.

As per this report, Reading are in negotiations with the Ghanaian national team wing-back over a move to the Madejski Stadium with him set to leave Inter due to a lack of playing time.

Asamoah has also receieved offers from Inter’s fellow Serie A clubs Genoa and Sampdoria and has also receieved offers from clubs in Ligue 1.

Asamoah joined Inter in the Summer of 2018 on a free transfer after his contract expired with Juventus at the end of the previous season and has just under one year left to run on his contract with the club.

The 31-year-old was limited to just 11 appearances across all competitions last season due to a recurring knee injury and he has not featured whatsoever for the Nerazzurri club this term.
