Inter refuse to give a discount to Cagliari for Belgian midfielder Radja Nainggolan, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
The report details how the Sardinian club have been keen to bring the 32-year-old Belgian midfielder back this transfer window, but their financial position has limited their ability to close out the deal.
Inter do not want to send the former Roma midfielder out on loan again and want at least €10 million for his signature, the report continues, hoping for a definitive sale.
Cagliari would like to lower the financial impact of the signing, and include 19-year-old Italian midfielder Riccardo Ladinetti in the deal, but the Nerazzurri are less interested.
Optimism has decreased on both sides regarding a deal now, with talks stalling. The player’s agent Alessandro Beltrami attended a meeting yesterday with the parties but nothing was resolved.
Nainggolan appeared as a substitute in the Nerazzurri’s 4-3 win over Fiorentina last weekend.
