Lazio regulars Joaquin Correa and Stefan Radu will both be starting against Inter this afternoon, despite both recently suffering from injuries, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how the duo recently took part in training, seemingly convincing coach Simone Inzaghi that they are fit enough to feature against the Nerazzurri today.

This morning the 26-year-old Correa underwent another medical check which confirmed that he is fit enough to appear. The player had a back problem in the pre-match warm-up that forced him to miss the game against Atalanta on Wednesday, and he returned to training yesterday.

Radu was taken off in the second half of the Biancocelesti’s mid-week defeat with muscle discomfort. Friday’s tests ruled out injury but some slight doubts still remain.

Luiz Felipe and Denis Vavro are both still out injured, however, limiting Inzaghi’s options in defense a little.
