Inter and Cagliari remain far apart in negotiations over Radja Nainggolan according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia journalist and transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio.

Cagliari have already agreed personal terms with the Belgian central midfielder but are yet to come to an agreement with Inter over a transfer as the clubs are currently distant in talks when it comes to agreeing a transfer fee.

Nainggolan spent the duration of last season on loan at the Sardinia based club and it now remains to be seen as to whether a deal will be able to be reached between the two clubs before the transfer window shuts at 8pm CET tonight.

The 32-year-old Belgian joined Inter in the Summer of 2018 in a players plus cash deal from Roma and he has made just a single appearance across all competitions to date for Inter this term, in which he failed to make any goal contributions.
