Joao Mario’s agent Federico Pastorello was at Inter’s headquarters this morning to hold talks with Inter over the bid Sporting CP have made for his client according to a report from Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.

The Portuguese giants have made a loan offer for the Portuguese national team midfielder, who is very much out of Inter’s project and Pastorello is working to conclude a deal.

Joao Mario spent last season out on loan at Russian Premier League club Lokomotiv Moscow, who passed up on the opportunity to sign him on a permanent basis.

Joao Mario has seen himself linked with a whole array of clubs as of late, including Torino, but multiple reports circulating in the Italian media have stated he has his sights set on a return to Sporting CP, who he left to join Inter back in the Summer of 2016.

Since joining Inter, the 27-year-old made 69 appearances across all competitions for the club, in which he has scored four goals and tallied 13 assists.
