Inter wing-back Kwadwo Asamoah could leave Inter for Sampdoria prior to tonight’s 8pm CET transfer deadline according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Sampdoria have come forward for the Ghanaian national team player, who is far from a first choice nowadays at Inter.

There has been talk of Asamoah terminating his contract with Inter, which only has just under a year left to run on it, to help Sampdoria to sign him but Inter will have to contribute to his wages due to the fact his €3 million a year wages are out of reach for the Blucerchiati club.

Asamoah joined Inter back in the Summer of 2018 on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with Juventus at the end of the previous season.

The 31-year-old has made 53 appearances across all competitions to date for the club, in which he has provided his teammates with a total of three assists.
