In the coming days Inter will meet with Lautaro Martinez’s representatives to discuss a contract renewal with the club according to a report from Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.
Inter are looking to tie the highly rated Argentine national team player down to a new contract with the club that will run until 2025.
Inter want to insert an anti-Juventus clause in a bid to deter the Bianconeri club from ever moving for the 23-year-old sensation.
The Nerazzurri club could make this clause be worth €175 million and there will also be a release clause in the contract for other clubs which will be a little less than that amount.
The report goes on to add that Lautaro is expected to put pen to paper on a new contract with Inter by the end of October.
This season Lautaro has made three appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored three goals and provided a single assist.
