Inter will not sell Milan Skriniar prior to this evening’s transfer deadline according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was aired a short time ago.

Skriniar has been linked with a potential move to Tottenham Hotspur in recent weeks but Inter are not expecting the Premier League club to make a new move to sign him and the Nerazzurri club have therefore decided to keep the Slovakian national team player at the club.

Skriniar was an unused substitute for Inter’s first match of the season against Fiorentina when speculation over a move to Spurs was at its highest but he has started in Inter’s two matches since against Benevento and Lazio respectively.

25-year-old Skriniar joined Inter back in the Summer of 2017 in a player plus cash deal from fellow Serie A side Sampdoria and he is contracted to Inter until the end of the 2022/23 season.

Since joining Skriniar has made 130 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored four goals and tallied four assists.
