Lorenzo Pirola is on the brink of completing a transfer from Inter to newly promoted Serie B club Monza according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

As per this report, Monza, who are backed by former AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi, have already deposited the contract of the highly rated Italian youth national team representative.

Pirola is set to join Monza on a season long loan deal and the official announcement of the deal between the two clubs is expected to be announced just shortly.

The 18-year-old sensation, who is widely regarded as one of Inter’s best young prospects at the moment, made his Inter first team debut last season.

Regular first team opportunities this season at Inter would have been unlikely but he should get the chance to play regular football at a decent level at ambitious Monza, who recently bolstered their ranks with the signing of former AC Milan and Barcelona star Kevin-Prince Boateng.
