Serie B club Vicenza have announced that they have completed the signing of striker Samuele Longo from Inter moments ago via an official statement posted on their official club website.

Longo was widely expected to join Vicenza on a season long loan deal but the newly promoted second tier side have signed him up on a permanent basis with him putting pen to paper on a three year contract with them.

As part of their official statement, Vicenza have not specified the transfer fee that they have paid to Inter for the 28-year-old, who spent the first half of last season out on loan at Deportivo La Coruna and the second half out on loan at Venezia.

Longo came through the youth ranks of Inter but since 2012 he has had 11 loan spells away from the club. The former Italian youth national team representative leaves Inter having made just two first team appearances in competitive action.
