Inter’s newest recruit Matteo Darmian has chosen to wear the number 36 shirt at the club, Inter have confirmed via their official Twitter account, a short while ago.

Darmian underwent his medical with Inter on Friday and also signed his contract with the club on that day and he was officially announced as an Inter player this morning.

The highly versatile 36 time Italian national team representative has joined Inter in a loan with obligation to buy deal from fellow Serie A club Parma and has reportedly signed a four year contract with the Nerazzurri.

Darmian has become the seventh player in Inter history to have the number 36 shirt and is the first player to have this squad number since former Inter academy player Simone Benedetti wore it during the 2010/11 season.

Inter are Darmian’s seventh club of his career with him able to count AC Milan, Torino and Manchester United among his former employers.
