Inter are working on a contract renewal for more than just Lautaro Martinez according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
It has been widely reported that Inter want to sign the highly rated 23-year-old striker, who drew strong links to Barcelona during the transfer window, to a new and improved contract.
In addition to Lautaro, Inter will in fact address the contract renewals of Nicolo Barella and Alessandro Bastoni in the coming weeks. Last season both players certified that despite being young, they can already be protagonists in a top level club such as Inter.
Barella is currently under contract with Inter through to the end of the 2023/24 season whilst Bastoni is under contract with the club until the end of the 2022/23 season.
Barella has been an ever present feature in the Inter team this season, with him playing in all three games to date, whilst Bastoni has appeared in two of Inter’s games thus far.
