Inter did not go on to sign Victor Moses as Suning did not approve the move according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Inter manager Antonio Conte wanted another wing-back brought in following the departure of Dalbert to Rennes but Suning did not give their approval for Moses to be brought back to the club due to Conte already having four players capable of playing at wing-back in Achraf Hakimi, Ashley Young, Matteo Darmian and Danilo D’Ambrosio.

The report goes on to state that whilst Conte did not get Moses nor did he end up getting top target N’Golo Kante, Inter have a squad capable of fighting for the Serie A title this season.

Inter have made an unbeaten start to the 2020/21 campaign with them winning twice and drawing their other game. The Nerazzurri are currently sitting in fourth place in the table, two points adrift of league leaders Atalanta.
