Inter manager Antonio Conte now has numerous alternatives that he can use in the midfield with thanks to the extra large midfield department according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Last season Inter found themselves caught short in the midfield on numerous occasions when players got injuries but the chances of them having problems this season have been reduced due to the abundance of players in the  midfield given they have a total of eight midfielders and that is even with Borja Valero having left and Lucien Agoume having went out on loan.

Conte has a well armoured midfield department which contains players who all boast different characteristics and the former Italian national team boss is ultimately spoiled for choice in the middle of the park.

Inter’s midfield department currently consists of Matias Vecino, Radja Nainggolan, Arturo Vidal, Marcelo Brozovic, Nicolo Barella, Stefano Sensi, Roberto Gagliardini and Christian Eriksen.
