The international break is a chance for both Matteo Darmian and Radja Nainggolan to prove themselves at Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Darmian joined Inter in the final few days of the recently concluded Summer transfer window and he is a player who Inter manager Antonio Conte knows well due to already working with him in the Italian national team a few years ago.

The 36 time Italian national team player is highly versatile and has specialised in being one of the outside centre backs in a three man defence in recent seasons although it cannot be ruled out that he could be utilised as a wing-back.

Conte likes fielding adapted wing-backs at centre back therefore it can be presumed that is where Darmian will play for Inter.

As for Nainggolan, he looked set for a return to Cagliari but the move never materialised and if all goes well, he could become a formidable wildcard for Conte to deploy in the Inter midfield.
