New Inter recruit Matteo Darmian has taken to social media platform Twitter to bid farewell to now former club Parma.
The highly versatile 36-time Italian national team representative joined Inter in a loan with obligation to buy deal from the Ducali club on Monday prior to the transfer deadline.
The 30-year-old is widely reported to have signed a four year contract with Inter and has left Parma after just over a year, in which he made 37 appearances across all competitions.
He posted: “Thanks Parma and thanks to you fans. For me now a new adventure begins. I leave a fantastic group that I will never forget, a group that I will challenge on the field as an opponent but that I will always carry in my heart. See you soon, Matte.”
Grazie Parma e grazie a voi tifosi. Per me ora inizia una nuova avventura… lascio un gruppo fantastico che non dimenticherò mai, un gruppo che sfiderò sul campo da avversario ma che porterò sempre nel mio cuore. A presto, Matte 💛💙 #ForzaParma #GialloBlu @1913ParmaCalcio pic.twitter.com/TSnQ1aq5ZH
