Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio have plans to extend the contracts of a number of Inter players according to a report from the online edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Roberto Gagliardini will be one player who will extend his contract with Inter just shortly. The Italian has earned the trust of Inter manager Antonio Conte due to him having unique characteristics.

He is currently contracted to 2023 and he will soon extend his deal with the club past that.

Lautaro Martinez will also be handed a new deal by the club and Inter management will meet with Lautaro’s agents this month and open negotiations over a new deal next month.

The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to add that highly rated young defender Alessandro Bastoni’s contract will be extended until at least 2024.

He is currently under contract with Inter until 2023 and earns just €300,000 a year but will receive a salary increase as part of a new deal.
