Danilo D’Ambrosio and Aleksandar Kolarov will start alongside Stefan de Vrij in Inter’s defence in the upcoming Derby della Madonnina against AC Milan according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

As things stand, both Alessandro Bastoni and Milan Skriniar are COVID-19 positive and will miss the match against the Rossoneri which is to take place in nine days time.

With both Bastoni and Skriniar out, it is only natural that D’Ambrosio and Kolarov will start in their place whilst Andrea Ranocchia and Matteo Darmian will both be on the bench.

The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to state that it still needs to be decided whether Bastoni and Skriniar will serve their respective quarantine periods.

The players could quarantine at home or Bastoni could quarantine at Inter’s training ground whilst Skriniar may have to quarantine in his native Slovakia, where he currently is.
