Inter manager Antonio Conte is currently evaluating how he will replace Milan Skriniar and Alessandro Bastoni according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was broadcast a short time ago.
Both Skriniar and Bastoni have recently tested positive for COVID-19 and due to them having to quarantine, Conte will have to do without the two central defendera for the upcoming Derby della Madonnina against AC Milan in nine days time.
Above all, Conte is evaluating the possibility of deploying Andrea Ranocchia and the newly arrived Matteo Darmian in the three man backline against the Rossoneri club alongside Stefan de Vrij.
Former Italian national team manager Conte could however call upon Danilo D’Ambrosio to play at centre back. D’Ambrosio has played at centre back a number of times whilst Conte has been in charge despite naturally being a wing-back and he has performed well when playing out of his natural position.
