Former Inter and Italian national team player Fulvio Collovati has shared his belief that Inter currently boast the best squad in all of Serie A following the recent closure of the Summer transfer window.
Inter added Achraf Hakimi, Arturo Vidal, Matteo Darmian and Aleksandar Kolarov to their ranks during the transfer window and have made an unbeaten start to the season with them having obtained seven points from their opening three fixtures in the 2020/21 Serie A season.
Collovati, who played for Inter between 1982 and 1986, believe Inter have a better team than Juventus, who he thinks Inter will fight it with for the Serie A title this season.
“In my opinion, Inter has a high level squad, even more complete than Juventus. I think these two teams have something more than the others,” Collovati explained in an interview with Italian radio station Centro Suono Sport, earlier on today.
“Roma will fight for the Champions League together with Napoli, Atalanta, Lazio and Milan, a team with a young project that will produce long-term results.”
During his four year spell with Inter, the 1982 World Cup winner, who also played for Udinese among others in his career, made 167 appearances across all competitions, in which he scored a total of eight goals.
