Inter Midfielder Roberto Gagliardini: “I’m Fine & In Isolation, See You Soon At San Siro”

Inter central midfielder Roberto Gagliardini has taken to photo sharing social media platform Instagram to give fans an update on his condition after he tested positive for COVID-19.

The Italian is currently the fourth player to have tested positive for COVID-19 in the Inter squad with the other three players being Alessandro Bastoni, Radja Nainggolan and Milan Skriniar.

Gagliardini has posted to his Instagram story and reassured fans that he is currently doing fine and is in isolation. He posted: “Hello everybody! Thanks for the messages received, I’m fine and I’m in isolation! See you soon at San Siro. Be Safe.”

Gagliardini joined Inter in an initial loan deal from Atalanta in January 2017 and was signed on a permanent basis by Inter that Summer.

The 26-year-old, who is contracted to the club until the end of the 2022/23 season, has made two appearances across all competitions to date this term, in which he has scored a single goal.

Since joining Inter, Gagliardini has made 106 appearances for the club with him having scored 12 goals and tallied five assists.
