Inter central defender Stefan de Vrij is set to start for the Dutch national team for the second game in a row according to a report from the online edition of Dutch news outlet RTL Nieuws.

The 28-year-old made his first appearance for the Dutch national team in around two years in their international friendly loss to Mexico a few days ago and as per this report, he and Virgil van Dijk will start at centre back in the Netherlands’ UEFA Nations League tie with Bosnia and Herzegovina on Sunday evening.

de Vrij joined Inter back in the Summer of 2018 on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract at fellow Serie A club Lazio at the end of the previous season.

He has since went on to make 84 appearances across all competitions for the club and in his time on the park he has scored a total of six goals and also provided his teammates with six assists.
