Inter have confirmed that back-up goalkeeper Ionut Andrei Radu has tested positive for COVID-19 in an official statement posted on the club website, moments ago.

In their statement, the Nerazzurri club have also confirmed recent media speculation that central midfielders Roberto Gagliardini and Radja Nainggolan have both also tested positive for the virus.

Inter now have a total of five players in their squad who have tested positive for COVID-19. In addition to those above, Alessandro Bastoni and Milan Skriniar have both also tested positive for COVID-19.

It now remains to be seen whether any more Inter players will test positive for COVID-19 between now and the upcoming Derby della Madonnina against AC Milan on Saturday October 17. Kick off for this match is scheduled for 18:00 local time.

The Rossoneri club currently have two players who have tested positive for COVID-19 with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Leo Duarte and Mattia Gabbia having tested positive recently.
