Inter are considering re-signing Standard Liege defender Zinho Vanheusden, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how the 21-year-old Belgian centre back made his national team debut under Roberto Martinez two days ago against the Ivory coast. The player had a strong game, which did not go unnoticed in the eyes of Inter.

The Nerazzurri may look to re-sign Vanheusden for around €20 million, the report continues. The player was sold to Standard Liege a year ago for around €11.6 million.

It was discussed again this summer, but all parties agreed that it was better to postpone the deal for now, although the Milanese club could return for him next summer, if not in the January transfer window.

Vanheusden has made eight appearances across all competitions so far this season, helping the side keep two clean sheets in that time.
