Inter midfielder Christian Eriksen’s recent outburst in the media could see him leave the club in the January transfer window, with interested clubs on high alert, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how the 28-year-old Dane recently publicly complained about the lack of playing time he has received in Milan, not happy being benched so regularly.

The former Tottenham midfielder has only played 73 minutes in the first three games of this season, missing last weekend’s 1-1 draw with Lazio.

His comments show that he is not content being benched so regularly and should this continue to January, then he could leave the club after only a year, with clubs preparing to take advantage of his discontent.

Coach Antonio Conte has only four midfielders available for next weekend’s derby with AC Milan, but the Dane will still be the alternative, set to start the game on the bench.
