Inter are looking to try and sign either of Chelsea’s Marcos Alonso or Emerson Palmieri in the upcoming January transfer window, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how the Nerazzurri tried to sign both players this summer, but struggled as the Blues refused to entertain the idea of a discount and the Milanese club only offered loan deals with a buy option attached, not definitive enough for the London based club.

In January Inter will try to satisfy the requests of coach Antonio Conte, with the left wing back role being the weakest position currently. Currently Ashley Young, Ivan Perisic and Aleksandar Kolarov are all able to fill the role.

The duo remain at the top of Inter’s transfer target list, and considering that Chelsea are working well with new left back Ben Chilwell, one of them is likely to leave in the winter window.
