Inter midfielder Christian Eriksen’s recent outburst in the media is more of a cry for help than a fight with the Nerazzurri, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
The report details how the 28-year-old Danish midfielder does not want to fail in Italy and wants to make his mark in Serie A with Inter, especially considering that 18 months ago he was flying high with Tottenham.
Inter refused loan offers for the former Tottenham midfielder and he has a chance to prove himself to coach Antonio Conte, although performances need to impress before the January transfer window or he could still depart the club after less than a year.
Eriksen is unhappy at the low amount of playing time he has received so far with the Nerazzurri. The Dane has only played 73 minutes in the first three games of this season, completely missing the 1-1 draw with Lazio last weekend.
