Inter wing back Achraf Hakimi has been praised for his performance in Morocco’s 3-1 win over Senegal yesterday, in a report from Moroccan sports newspaper Al Mountakhab.
The report details how the 21-year-old, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2025, was a constant danger for the Senegalese defense, being one of the most important offensive outlets for the Moroccan national team.
Senegal were aware of the danger and attempted to defend heavier against him, but the player was good at involving teammates, the report continues.
Hakimi is considered essential in the squad, both for his offensive and defensive qualities, and he has once again established himself as one of the most exciting players around.
The 21-year-old Moroccan provided an assist in the 3-1 win, his 5th overall assist for Morocco. He has also scored two goals.
The player has started his time with the Nerazzurri strongly, scoring one goal and providing two assists in his first three appearances.
