Inter President Zhang Gave Spurs Same Treatment In Skriniar Talks As Received During Eriksen Talks Italian Media Reports

Inter president Steven Zhang behaved the same way in the negotiations with Tottenham regarding Milan Skriniar as Spurs president Daniel Levy did in the Christian Eriksen talks, according to a report from Italian media outlet Calciomercato.com earlier today.

The report details how the North London club were looking to sign the 25-year-old Slovakian defender this transfer window, but failed to match the Nerazzurri’s request for €60 million.

Offers ranged up to €45 million, but Zhang did not budge and decided not to give any discounts to the English team. Skriniar’s move never materialised and he is now a part of coach Antonio Conte’s squad.

Just eight months earlier, Tottenham did the same with Inter in the Eriksen talks, the report continues. Despite the fact that his contract was set to expire only six months later, Levy did not move an inch from his €20 million valuation, and the Nerazzurri eventually paid.

The player is not expected to start against AC Milan next weekend.
