Inter midfielder Arturo Vidal commented on yesterday’s 2-1 defeat to Uruguay with Chile in a post on his Instagram page yesterday.

The 33-year-old Chilean signed for the Nerazzurri from Barcelona in this summer’s transfer window, signing a contract that lasts until 2022, with an option for a third year.

He has appeared in all three of Inter’s games so far this season, impressing with his dominant performances in midfield.

Vidal discussed yesterday’s loss, saying: “Very sad with what happened yesterday! But at the same time calm and hopeful of how we played against a great team with very good players!  We’ll continue working together with sacrifice and perseverance, we will reach our goal!  Vamos Chile.”
