Danilo D’Ambrosio is destined to continue his career with Inter for a few more years according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.
The Italian wing-back’s current contract is due to expire at the end of the current season but his deal will soon be extended until the end of the 2022/23 season, as per this report.
The new contract has been drafted up and it now remains to be seen when the parties will get the contract extension over the line.
The report goes on to conclude that in the recently concluded transfer window Ligue 1 club AS Monaco made an attempt to sign him but Inter did not even consider the offer made for the 32-year-old.
D’Ambrosio joined Inter back in the January transfer window of the 2013/14 season and he has since went on to represent the club on 211 occasions, in which he has scored 18 goals and provided 17 assists for his teammates. This season he has made two appearances, in which he has scored one goal.
