Fiorentina are ready to offer a new contract to central defender Nikola Milenkovic according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The Serbian’s current deal with La Viola is due to expire at the end of the 2021/22 season and the Stadio Artemio Franchi club, who have been working with his agent Fali Ramadani for a long time, have a contract renewal offer ready to present to him.

The report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to explain that Inter and AC Milan are remaining vigilant and are ready to move for him if the opportunity to do so presents itself.

Fiorentina club officials have already stated that if Milenkovic does not sign a contract renewal he will be sold and despite this, the report goes on to conclude that Fiorentina will not grant any discounts and stand firm with their demands of €40 million.
