Inter striker Lautaro Martinez will start for the Argentine national team in their upcoming 2022 World Cup qualifier away to Bolivia according to a report from the online edition of Argentine news outlet Infobae.

The highly rated 23-year-old will start up top alongside Lionel Messi in the Argentine national team attack for the match that is to be played at the Estadio Hernando Siles in the Bolivian capital of La Paz.

Lautaro started Argentina’s first World Cup qualifier a few days ago, which they won 1-0 against Ecuador and the match with Bolivia tomorrow night will not only be his second consecutive start but also his second World Cup qualifier overall in his national team career.

This season the former Racing Club player, who joined Inter in a circa €20 million deal back in the Summer of 2018, has made three appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored three goals and provided a single assist for his teammates.
