Inter could go back in for Chelsea wing-back Emerson Palmieri in the upcoming January transfer window in one condition according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

If Inter manage to make it to the knockout stages of the Champions League, they could attempt to make a move for the Brazilian born Italian national team player, who has also drawn links with Inter’s arch rivals Juventus.

Inter have long been linked with making a move for Emerson with many report stating Inter manager Antonio Conte would like a reunion with the former Roma and Santos player, who he worked with at Chelsea.

The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to highlight that it cannot be forgotten that in eight months time Bayern Munich’s David Alaba, who Inter have been linked with in recent months, will be a free agent, provided he does not agree a new deal with the Bavaria based club before then.
