Inter attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen has admitted that he is proud that he will make his 100th appearance for the Danish national team in tomorrow night’s UEFA Nations League A group 2 clash away to England.
Both Eriksen and national team teammate Simon Kjaer will reach a century of appearances for De rød-hvide when they take on England at Wembley Stadium on match day four of their UEFA Nations League campaign.
“We are both we are proud to be in this situation and soon we will have played 100 games, but hopefully there will be many more. Time will tell how many there will be,” Eriksen explained to the gathered media in the pre-match press conference which took place earlier on today.
The 27-year-old former Ajax player joined Inter from Tottenham Hotspur in the most recent January transfer window on a four and a half year contract.
Eriksen has since went on to make 28 appearances across all competitions in the Nerazzurri shirt and in his time on the park he has scored four goals and provided three assists. He has two appearances this season and has made no goal contributions.
