Inter and AC Milan remain interested in signing Fiorentina central defender Nikola Milenkovic according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Inter are interested in bringing Milenkovic to the club next Summer. Inter consider him as a possible replacement for Milan Skriniar, who is unlikely to leave the club in the fast approaching January transfer window.

Milenkovic’s contract with Fiorentina expires in 2022 thus meaning come the Summer of 2021 he will have just a year left on his deal meaning interested clubs could potentially obtain him for less than what Fiorentina have been demanding for him.

The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to add that Zinho Vanheusden, who Inter have an option to re-sign for €20 million from Standard Liege and Torino’s Armando Izzo, who could be swapped for Inter central midfielder Matias Vecino, are other options that Inter could look toward to strengthen their defence.
