Inter striker Lautaro Martinez will start for the Argentine national team in their 2022 World Cup qualifier away to Bolivia later on today according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.
The highly rated 23-year-old will be the sole striker in Argentine national team manager Lionel Scaloni’s starting line-up for the match that will take place at the Estadio Hernando Siles in the Bolivian capital of La Paz.
Lautaro will have Barcelona’s Lionel Messi and Atalanta’s Alejandro ‘Papu’ Gomez playing in behind him and there will be a number of players to have been linked to Inter in the past, in addition to Messi, in the starting line-up as well.
Gonzalo Montiel, Lucas Martinez Quarta, Nicolas Tagliafico, Exequiel Palacios, Leandro Paredes and Marcos Acuna have all been linked to Inter at one point in their careers and will start.
