One of Lautaro Martinez’s agents Rolando Zarate has insisted that his client is currently very happy to be playing his football at Inter.
Lautaro drew extremely strong links over a move to Barcelona in the recently concluded transfer window but in an interview with Argentine radio station RadioTrendTopic show ‘TTSports’, Zarate has insisted his client is very comfortable where he is and downplayed the talk of Barcelona out of respect for Inter.
“It is not correct to speak about Barcelona, Lautaro is a player owned by Inter. It would be disrespectful to the club that opened the doors to Europe for him.
“Right now he is feeling very well with the Nerazzurri,” Zarate explained in the interview which was broadcast earlier on today.
Lautaro joined Inter in the Summer of 2018 in a circa €20 million deal from Racing Club on a five year contract. Since joining the highly rated 23-year-old has made 87 appearances across all competitions, in which he has scored 33 goals and tallied nine assists.
This season the Argentine national team representative has made three appearances across all competitions, in which he has scored three goals and also provided a single assist.
