Achraf Hakimi is expected to start for the Moroccan national team in their international friendly match against DR Congo later on today according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

The Inter wing-back played all 90 minutes of Morocco’s 3-1 international friendly win over Senegal on Friday and looks set to start once again tonight at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium.

The report goes on to explain that Inter manager Antonio Conte is hopeful that Morocco manager Vahid Halilhodzic will not play Hakimi for the entirety of the match.

Hakimi joined Inter in the Summer transfer window in a €45 million, including add-ons, deal from Real Madrid and has made a great start to life in the Nerazzurri shirt.

The highly rated 21-year-old has made three appearancs across all competitions to date since joining Inter. In his time on the park so far, which totals just over 200 minutes, he has scored one goal and provided two assists for his teammates.
