Lautaro Martinez knocked back the advances of a Premier League club during the recently concluded Summer transfer window according to a report from Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.
As per this report, the highly rated 23-year-old Inter and Argentine national team striker knocked back big spending Chelsea.
The reason for this was because Lautaro was only prepared to leave Inter for either Barcelona or Real Madrid, both of whom had shown an interest in him during the Summer transfer window.
Lautaro joined Inter in the Summer of 2018 in a circa €20 million deal and he is under contract with Inter until the end of the 2022/23 season, something that could change shortly with various reports having stated Inter want to tie him down to a new deal.
Since his arrival at the club, Lautaro has made 87 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 33 goals and provided a total of nine assists.
